The National Weather Service is calling for excessive heat for the remainder of the week, with the heat index as high as 102°F.  As a result, Delaware County has put its Heat Plan into effect.  More information about the Heat Plan is available here: http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/spotlight/16heatplan.html.  Additionally, the County Office of Services for the Aging (“COSA”) maintains a Heat Information Line at (610) 872-1558, providing residents with heat advisory updates and information.
